Getting to the port and meeting your driver afterwards

For your outward journey, plan around the check-in or embarkation time assigned to you, not just the ship’s sailing time. After the cruise, allow for disembarkation and luggage collection when agreeing your pickup time.

Your terminal, disembarkation time, luggage and any schedule changes are the main details to agree before travelling.

Waiting arrangements and the meeting point are confirmed for your booking. Please tell us in advance if your cruise or flight details change.

Can I travel directly from the airport to the port?

Yes. Provide your airport, flight number, destination port and terminal. For a transfer on the day of sailing, assess the time needed for arrival formalities, luggage collection, the drive and cruise check-in in advance.

Is the port name enough when booking?

Please also provide the exact terminal and ship name from your travel documents. Southampton has several cruise terminals, and Dover’s cruise and ferry facilities need to be distinguished.

What pickup time should I book after my cruise?

Arrange a time based on when you expect to leave the terminal, rather than when the ship docks. Allow for disembarkation, any formalities and luggage collection, and confirm the meeting point beforehand.

Is the transfer price fixed?

The confirmed price applies to the agreed booking details. Changes to the address or terminal, additional stops or waiting beyond the agreed allowance may affect the price and are discussed separately.

What happens if the terminal or arrival time changes?

Contact us as soon as you know. A revised pickup time and location must be agreed; the availability of changes and any waiting arrangements depend on your booking.

Can I request a child seat and bring extra luggage?

Tell us the child’s age, the seat required and the number and size of bags when booking. Check vehicle capacity in advance for bulky luggage or pushchairs; specific requirements are confirmed before travel.
